New Artwork Request: Sword in a Bonfire

I am looking to work on designing a color changing mug. The theme will be inspired by the bonfire from the Dark Souls franchise. The image itself can be in the style of anime, or of a 3D/video game style. It is inspired by Dark Souls, it is NOT a 1-1 recreation. The details on how the flames must look will be very specific in order for it to work with the color changing mug design. The image below is a mere example, and the video screenshots is a before and after of how it'll look after hot water is added to the mug. The black paint that turns colorless will be hand painted by me, so it needs to be an easy design for me to paint over and cannot actually cross the sword itself. But we will work on the details after the right person is selected.
