Definitely was not disappointed by this. Reviews before mine said it was strong and it is, and I love it. If you like the smell of charcoal grilling (without additives like lighter fluid tainting it) like I do, it'll probably be up your alley. The smokey flavor is definitely overpowering any standard tea flavor however, just keep that in mind. The aroma you get with each sip is amazing though if you like that sorta thing.
Very strong, smoky flavor just as advertised. Very earthy, too. Unfortunately it doesn't agree with my palate as it comes off almost like leather. Too strong a flavor for me, but if you like the "AND THEN, EVERYTHING CHANGED WHEN THE FIRE NATION ATTACKED." blend then you're likely going to like this one too.
This is a campfire deep in the mountains in a cup. The pine is earthy and refreshing as the smokey flavor soothes your soul. If you hold your cup close and close your eyes on a cold day, it's like a misty morning after you've just stoked the fire back to life to make breakfast, the pine sap snapping in the rekindled flame.
