I like it, not what I expected from licorice
Yummy tea for occasional treat.
The the tea was actually worth the wait. Nery relaxing to just brew up first thing in the morning. I want to point out the fantastic response time and service I got to an order issue; I got an e-mail almost immediately after I sent in my ticket for the lost product, and when I asked for updates, they were quick, polite, and very helpful. The new product even arrived in recoord time! I want to say thank you to the support these people provide their customers, because it makes their product all the better for it.
I find myself often trying licorice tea and finding them to be a wonderful treat. This tea blend is simple but delicious. I was looking forward to trying Dragons treasure tea after learning about it and this was an excellent tea to start with.
I look forward to trying more and hopefully, there comes more tea with licorice.
Let me start by saying that this is a REALLY good blend of herbal tea before I say things that either out me as having no palate or a nitpicker. Or something. Anyway, personally I don't really pick up on the smell and flavor of licorice all that much, but to be honest, I might just be completely unfamiliar with the taste of natural licorice root as opposed to the flavor that comes with the famed black candy ropes. Still, to my nose the overwhelming scent I pick up on is the peppermint.
That said, I cannot deny that the mint, ginger, and licorice blend together ridiculously well - which might explain why I'm not consciously picking up on the licorice flavor. This is a calming, relaxing blend that really begs to be savored.
TLDR - buy it, love it, drink it. Then buy more - great stuff!
