"In a quiet suburb, a small tea shop has opened up. People wonder who is opening this store? Is it a cute young woman, aiming to make it a girly getaway? Or perhaps a British gentleman, looking to bring some refined culture to this quaint town? Maybe a Japanese master of ceremony, finally looking to settle down and pass his craft? Nope, it’s Dale, The burly behemoth of a man, retiring from construction work and opening up what seems like an uncharacteristic fit for a man both rough in stature and personality.
He leaves the hiring process to his assistant and troll of a friend, Randy. And the Gods have blessed Randy on this hiring day in a way that no one could have seen coming. 1 young man looking for work, and 3 different girls. But these are no random girls, as all 3 have - at one point or another - been a love interest for old Dale. And all 3 are looking to rekindle those flames. Each came into Dale’s life at different points, and each have seen a different side of him and helped shape him in some way or another to be who he is.
Despite their desires, Dale wants nothing more to do with them. Unfortunately for him, he gave Randy full control over the hiring process, and for Randy’s endless amusement he is now stuck with them. Will these girls be able to reawaken feelings that Dale thinks are forever gone? What happened to make Dale act the way he does? How will they act knowing that the others are after the same goal? But before any sparks can fly, there’s a tea store that needs to be run, and the owner is a man with a vision but not much else! What will happen during the working days of Dragon Fire?!"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------KYLE
Dale, Randy, Allie, Opal, and Serenity all seem to know each other from years past. But Kyle is different. He's out of the loop, knows nothing of any of these people, and was looking to just get some work and a steady paycheck. He certainly did not expect all of this confusion and hilarity as he watches everyone's interactions.
Yet at the same time, seeing them all gives him something of a melancholy mood. Seeing everyone's history reminds him of his own, or lack thereof. Randy seemed to hire him merely on a whim for his own entertainment. And despite his sheer simplicity, Kyle struggles to figure Dale out. He can't figure out if Dale is disinterested in him or just doesn't like him, and that confusion just leads to more frustration. What exactly are Dale and Randy's plans for him?
At the very least, he gets to work with all the cute girls! And who knows, maybe if one of them can lose interest in Dale, he can come in and be the man Dale can't be for them! But before all that, this IS a job, and Kyle still has to work, all the while observing the nonsense he witnesses in the upcoming Webcomic, Dragon Fire!

RANDY
A tongue sharper than any sword, wit quicker than any bullet, Randy has an unfortunate (for Dale) talent of being able to talk his way into and out of most scenarios. It's why, when Dale gave him unchecked access to hire and fire the employees, Dale came to regret it.
Despite the trickster-esque nature of Randy, he is quite capable in his own right, to an almost eerie degree. Most importantly, when the chips are down he aims to do good. When they're not, he aims to have as much fun as he can, usually at Dale's expense. Being Dale's best friend, he's able to see a side of him that most others cannot, and often has to act as translator for his crude comrade in arms. He also knows how often Dale can miss the forest for the trees while simultaneously missing the trees for the forest, and as such has to help steer Dale in the proper direction.
So why did Randy ultimately hire Allie, Opal, and Serenity? He knew how upset this would make Dale, and not in a funny way. Is he planning on trolling his way to a good time, or does he gave some more positive motives for this? If so, what could they possibly be? To find out, follow us for more updates to the upcoming Webcomic, Dragon Fire!
DALE
Dale is....rough around the edges. He has worked in construction his whole life, and has helped build some of the biggest and most beautiful buildings, bridges and roadways in the city. It was surprising, to say the least, when he decided to retire at the young age of 26 and open up a tea shop of all things.
Despite how odd this looks, his friends all seem to understand very well why he has gone down this path (even if his customers don't). Unfortunately, as familiar as he is with nuts and bolts, he doesn't quite understand the more abstract nuts and bolts of a business. His outwardly angry demeanor isn't much for customer service, neither.
When Randy hired 3 girls from his past, all of which seem to have their own talents that would work especially well for the tea shop, Dale still wishes to be rid of them. While his rage moments are usually comical to those who know him and his overreactive ways, his moments towards the girls seem...bitter. What happened to make Dale act this way towards them? Can Randy and friends fix whatever has happened in the past? Can Dale overlook his own prejudices for the sake of the tea store? He will have to if he hopes to overcome his own shortcomings in the upcoming Webcomic, Dragon Fire!

SERENITY
Serenity has known Dale the longest of the three, and as such has seen how Dale has grown as a person the most. She knows she's attractive, she knows what Dale wants, and she's not afraid to do what it takes to catch his eye once more. And it's not difficult, as she knew Dale since Middle school, and was the person who showed Dale what it meant to love another person, seeing a kind of strength and passion that he just did not see in many others.
It's not just beauty she possesses, as she can be a cut throat business woman, and knows the nuts and bolts of what it will take to keep the business afloat. Between her love for Dale and her obsession with a perfectly functioning business, will she be willing to let one fade in importance for the sake of the other? Where this unhealthy obsession with business even come from, and why is Dale so seemingly ok with her at times abusive nature with it? And just how deep did their relationship actually go? Find out as her story unfolds in Dragon Fire!

OPAL
So pretty that she could be taken straight out of a fantasy. Kindness that borders on self-harming at times. These are traits of Opal that many can see, but Dale knows another side of her, one that made him fall in love!
Opal appeared in Dale's life shortly after Serenity. As Dale was depressed, many reached out to him, but he rejected them all. But something about Opal drew Dale in, and he reluctantly accepted her attempts of kindness in the hopes of figuring out what that was. From there, a friendship blossomed that Dale hoped would blossom into something more. But alas, it never did, and Dale & Opal remained best friends for a few more years. She even introduced him to tea, the very drink that he is now set to build his life around. Now she uses her knowledge of tea to help make Dale's products even better at the shop!
But what happened to make that friendship suddenly break? And why does Opal want to be part of his life once more? Is it to be friends again, or something more? Find out when we launch our upcoming webcomic, Dragon Fire!

ALLIE
Kind, sweet, full of life. Allie was the kind of person that you could bring to an anger management class and have no one ever feel rage again. Her soft voice and tender touch even managed to soothe the normally irate Dale! They became friends in their adult lives without even realizing it. As Allie helped soothe the savage beast that was Dale, he likewise helped focus the otherwise absent minded and aloof Allie, a feature that frequently had others taking advantage of her. Acting as her guard dog (guard bear?), Dale kept the bad away and barked at Allie to get her to focus on her life and aspirations! Like so many others, Dale eventually fell for Allie, but the feelings were not mutual. But Dale was ok with that. Now Allie uses that kind nature and alluring smile to help bring customers in and relax Dale's otherwise grumpy demeanor.
Their friendship was great. They hardly ever quarreled, and they both seemed to be making the other's life better. So what happened to that friendship? There was never even a falling out. It just....ended. Without any harsh breaking of trust, with no shattering of feelings, why did they stop talking to each other, and why does Dale still treat her as harshly as the other two? The only way to find out is to check out the upcoming Webcomic, Dragon Fire!
HELP! I’m new to tea! What do I do?!
First off, best choice of your life! We have an entire section for newcomers full of teas that are easy to make, difficult to mess up, and taste great!
We would recommend getting pre-bagged, as we will do the bagging for you. From there, simply follow the instructions on each package. For example, if a tea says BOIL for 3-5 min, you:
Boil the water
Put the tea bag into a cup
Pour the water into the cup
