Surprisingly good, first time I got any black tea that doesn't require sugar to offset bitterness, indeed has a very smoky flavour and scent - I will say that the scent of the dry tea caught me off-guard, but once brewed, the scent mellows down a lot.
This is a boldly smoky tea, bracing in the best way. Its a great tea for people that don't typically drink tea, exactly because it is so different from any other tea they'll have tried. Feels like a campfire in a cup.
This tea has a distinct smokey smell that reminded me of a bonfire or a fireplace. This tea was a bit stronger than I had anticipated, but was a great cup nonetheless.
Unique flavor, a bit too potent and bitter for my taste. I want to say it's almost earthy. Not my thing, but if you like bold flavors give it a shot. It might be a love it or hate it kind of thing.
Tasting this tea is quite the unique experience: A smooth yet smokey taste with every sip. Definitely one of my favorites, and one of those teas I seek to immediately recommend to people.
